This painting was inspired by listening to a programme about the First World War. The loss of life was horrendous, particularly so many young men dying in the trenches. They laid down their lives for a better world for us, and yet we are still fighting. When will we learn to be peaceful? We need balance and love. We are all connected, we can start with those closest to us.
