Inner Landscape

These recent paintings are explorations into the mysterious world of the psyche, the inner landscape. This complicated terrain, is an endless amble that satisfies my soul. My work has always been about the process, usually starting out without any idea of what it will look like or where it will lead, but with the intention of trusting the process, curious to discover where the creative dance will take me. Of course there are influences which affect what I do, sometimes it's thoughts or feelings about what's going on in my life, or maybe something I've seen or heard on tv, radio or internet, or a book I've been reading.
